Elin Rourke
Independent product consultant

I help early teams ship products people actually keep using.

Twelve years turning fuzzy ideas into shipped product — at two startups, one scale-up, and now with founders who want a senior partner, not a deck.

How we'll work

Senior, end-to-end — no hand-offs.

A simple shape that keeps us moving and keeps you in the loop.

  1. 01

    Intro call

A 30-minute fit check — your goal, your timeline, and whether I'm the right partner.

  2. 02

    Scoped proposal

A fixed scope, a fixed price, and a plan you can actually plan around.

  3. 03

    The work

We ship in weekly increments you can react to — strategy, design, and front-end together.

  4. 04

    Handoff

Clean files, a walkthrough, and two weeks of support. It's yours.

Kind words

What partners say afterward.

Elin did in three weeks what our last two hires couldn't in six months. Worth every penny.

Before we talk

The questions founders ask first.

Do I actually get you, or a junior once the contract's signed?

Me, end-to-end. No account manager, no hand-off to someone you never met. That's the whole point — and it's why I only take a few engagements a quarter.

What does an engagement cost?

A strategy sprint starts at $12k, a 0→1 build from $30k, a UX review at $6k. Every engagement is fixed-scope and fixed-price after the intro call — no hourly billing, no surprise invoices.

We're pre-revenue and moving fast. Is a consultant premature?

Often, yes — and I'll tell you if it is. If you have engineers but no one owning product direction, a two-week sprint usually pays for itself. If you mostly need hands on keys, I'll point you elsewhere.

What if it's not working two weeks in?

You can stop after any weekly increment and keep everything shipped to that point — files, decisions, and a written handoff. I'd rather end early than bill for work that isn't landing.

Have something worth building?

I take on a handful of engagements each quarter. Tell me what you're working on.

A real person reads it — usually replies within two business days.
